Why aren’t comments working on EtherHam?

Why aren’t comments working on EtherHam?

Update 12/15/2025: The hosting company has lifted the block on comments.

I wish I knew the real reason. My web host has been posting messages like this since December 4th:

the requests to /wp-comments-post.php and /wp-login.php?action=register have been blocked for an additional 12 hours.

The nominal reason comments aren’t working is my web host has shut down that function for all of their web servers. But that doesn’t tell me if it’s a technical issue with the servers, or an attack, or a temporary suspension of service to help resolve other issues. Frustrating.

If you have tried to submit a comment, I am sorry that the system isn’t allowing comments at this time. Since this is a problem at the server level, all comments are disabled on the EtherHam site at this time.

I do want to hear from you, so please feel free to contact me with your thoughts and ideas. Hit the link or use the form below.

You can also still leave comments at the Random Wire newsletter site. The most recent issue is published at this link: https://www.randomwire.us/p/random-wire-160-announcing-etherham
